Competency for Othopaedic Injections
As an employee, I noticed a gap in the ability to correctly charge a patient for the injections that they receive during a visit to the Ortho Clinic. Either they weren't being charged correctly for medications, supplies, or procedures that were being completed so I worked alongside a SME to create this competency that all new employees would need to pass.

Best Practices for Maintaining Student Engagement in Distance Education Classrooms
Throughout this research paper, I have named off a number of ways to make sure that students are expected to put distractions aside and are encouraged with various types of activities to keep their minds on the subject being taught. From simple actions such as setting a no phone policy to letting students take charge of a discussion board, the online classroom will transform from a boring and quiet lecture to an in-depth conversation where students are eager to participate if teachers are also doing their part outside of the classroom to keep students engaged. Distance education is a rapidly growing field so keeping up with new tools and software can create an environment that is welcoming and exciting over the year.
